“The Power of Words. On Jewish Languages” exhibition at the POLIN Museum

On 21 November, the temporary exhibition ‘The Power of Words. On Jewish Languages’ opened at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, curated by Dr Tamara Sztyma. The exhibition was prepared with the help of employees and graduates of our department – Dr Angelika Adamczyk, Dr Lidia Tuwalska-Napiórkowska, Dr Marta Kacprzak and Łukasz Kalużny, MA, while the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures of the University of Warsaw took patronage over the exhibition.

The authors of the works exhibited during the event included Mordechai Ardon, Menchem Boas, Moshe Castel, Karel Cudlín, Helena Czernek, Oded Ezer, Ewa Gordon, Victoria Hanna, Maria Ka, Daniel Kahn, Monika Krajewska, Mark Podwal, Ella Ponizovsky Bergelson, Joachim Seinfeld, Michal Shomer, Anna Elena Torres, and Agnieszka Traczewska.
